About Mrs. E. Lynette Davis-Sweet: I am a native of Quincy, Florida. I was educated in Gadsden County Public Schools. I am excited and privileged to be a faculty member at Stewart Street Elementary School, one of my primary school alma maters. This is my seventh year teaching. Inspired by my special needs grandson, I returned to school and earned a dual Bachelor’s degree from Flagler College of Tallahassee in Exceptional Student Education, (ESE) K-12 and Elementary Education K-6 with ESOL and Reading Endorsements. Prior to teaching, I've been employed with Gadsden County School Board a little over 30 years, working with young children, as an ESE Paraprofessional, Bus Attendant, ITV Assistant Secretary and ESE/Elementary Substitute Teacher. Also, I worked at Tallahassee Developmental Center (TDC), for one year, as a Training Instructor, teaching children/adults with mental and/or physical disabilities. I found this to be one of my most rewarding positions. I have been serving as Youth Director at my church since 2010 and beginning in 2019 I began serving as the youth (pre-teens/teens) Sunday School Teacher. I am looking forward to another fun filled learning experience this year.
