I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Morehead State University, in Morehead, Minnesota, in 1985.  

I graduated, April 30th, 2021, with a Masters Degree in Special Education from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida.

Additional course work in Exceptional Student Education was taken at Florida State University. 

I have been teaching students with special needs for the past 33 years here at Stewart Street Elementary School. I have been working with grades Kindergarten through fifth grade.  I teach students with varying exceptionalities.

Welcome to a new and exciting school year!  I have an exciting year planned for your child.  I am looking forward to meeting and working with each and every one of you and your child.  Throughout the year we will be in constant contact with each other, so that your child will have a successful school term.

Your child will have homework Monday through Thursday.  I also encourage you to have your child read something everyday.  Reading material will be sent home daily/weekly, but I also encourage you to take your child to the library and find material that they like or are interested in for further reading.  It is a good idea to set a side a particular time and dedicate it to reading. 

Parents, please visit our school's website regularly. so that you will become abreast with all current information and events pertinent to your child's success in school.
