Mrs. Eleanor McNealy was born and raised and educated in the Gadsden County Schools, and is a graduate of Greensboro High School. After finishing high school, I attended Florida A&Am University for two years. Unfortunately I did not complete my college education because my life's situation had changed due of marriage and motherhood.
I am the middle child of 9 children, I was also raised with my aunts and uncles; we have always had a close relationship. My grandmother always taught us the importance of Trusting God and following your dreams. My dream as a young girl was to be an educator.
While taking a break from college, I fotance r the State of Florida in the Departments of Children Health and Family Services, Education and Florida State University. I decided to finish my higher learning because I was hired by an institution of higher learning.
In 2016, by the time I retired after 35 years of continuous employment, I was ready to begin my internship at our Stewart Street Elementary because I had completed all requirements for a Master in Special Education from Grand Canyon University.
