FAMU 5th Grade College Tour
Our 5th grade boys and girls traveled to Tallahassee, Florida to visit Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) on Thursday, March 23, 2017. This trip was designed to expose them to an institution of higher learning with hopes to encourage them to further their education and training beyond high school. The 5th grade students had the opportunity to tour the University's campus, dine at the school's food court, and visit the black archives. Ms. Vicki Muse-Johnson and the 5th grade teachers provided this excellent learning experience and opportunity.
