SSES Pre-K classes got to interact up close and personal with a living cow!

Mr. Starks (no immediate relation to coach Starks), a local Gadsden County farmer, brought in a specialized trailer, along with proper fencing, and pen to corral the cow.  Once the cow was safely tethered, the students were able to get close enough to the cow to touch it!  In fact, many of our students DID reach out and touch/petted the cow.

At one time in Quincy's history, there were MANY more farms and such an experience would not have been that unusual!  However, for almost ALL of the students, this was a memorable experience to hear, see, feel (and perhaps smell) a living cow!

     Thank you Mr. Starks!!!
