The week of October 27th to the 31st, 2014, represents Red Ribbon Week. During this week our faculty, staff, and students are asked to participate in activities that exhibit our choice to be Drug Free! Knowing how social media and peer pressure impact children’s lives, we at SSES will take this week to wear a variety of different items to promote our desire to stand out, be original, and say no to drugs. Our schedule of activities is listed below.

Monday, Oct. 27: Wear something red to show that we want to stop drug use and abuse around the world!

Tuesday, Oct. 28: Wear wacky socks to show that we’re cool and drugs are “Wack”!

Wednesday, Oct. 29: Wear something black to represent us blacking out drugs in our community.

Thursday, Oct. 30th: Wear something representing your favorite sport or sports team to show we choose sports and good health over drugs any day!

Friday, Oct. 31st: Halloween (Nothing Required).

Please allow your children to wear these specific items on each day of Red Ribbon Week. Lets work together to make sure we use this week to influence all our children to choose to remain drug free for the rest of their lives.
