From The Principal's Desk
The Stewart Street Elementary School faculty and staff would like to thank all of the students and parents who help to make our first fundraising effort a success.  With your help, we will be able to purchase some additional school supplies and materials.  In addition, we will continue to provide incentives for our students in order to motivate them to do well in the classroom.

However, our "King & Queen" fundraiser is still underway.  The deadline for turning in all funds for this project is set for Friday, October 5, 2007 at 4:00 p.m.   All packets with the attached list of names and donations must be returned to the front office by the specified date and time.

Remember, the girl and boy at each grade level who turns in the most money by the deadline will be crowned King & Queen.  All of the winners will participate in the SSES coronation which is scheduled for Wednesday, October 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.  They will also participate in the East Gadsden High School Parade, which is scheduled for Friday, October 19 at 4:00 p.m.

Mr. & Miss Stewart Street will also be elected on October 5.  The winners of this election along with the winners of the "King & Queen" fundraiser will be announced on Tuesday, October 9, 2007.   Parents will be receiving additional information concerning these events within the next few days.
Good luck to all of our boys and girls!

If you should have questions concerning these activities, please feel free to contact your child's teacher or the school (627-3145) between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
