Mr. Germany is a life-long native of Gadsden County. He graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementray Education in 2009 and also earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Adminstration from Saint Leo University in 2016.
He began his educational journey as a substitute teacher in Gadsden and Jackson County. He was later hired as a 3rd grade teacher in January of 2010 under Ms. Lisa Robinson at Stewart Street Elementary School. As a 3rd grade teacher, he served as lead teacher and helped his 3rd grade team earn numerous accolades in the district. From 2012 to 2016 students received accolades for having perfect scores on the FCAT 2.0 Math and Reading. His students were also featured on the WCTV Channel 6 News and in the Gadsden County Times for their hardwork and success. Mr. Germany also taught 5th grade for 1 year before being promoted as Assistant Principal of Stewart Street Elementary.
He was voted by his peers as Teacher of the Year for the 2015-2016 school year and ranked in the top five for the District Teacher of the Year. Mr. Germany spends his time helping mentor young men living in single parent households without fathers. Through his mentoring these young men have graduated high school and are currently making great strides toward their career path.
Mr. Germany is focused on providing a plethora of opportunities in a learning focused environment crafted to meet the needs of both the teachers and students. LETS GO MUSTANGS!
